EcoVadis award: THIMM wins the silver medal

THIMM once again wins the EcoVadis silver medal in the EcoVadis rating. This EcoVadis award means THIMM Group is now one of the top 21 percent of companies in this sector that have received the same rating. Sustainability ratings are important for THIMM because they reflect the company’s emphasis on responsible conduct.

EcoVadis is a recognised and independent ratings platform that verifies corporate responsibility according to internationally applicable standards. The aim of EcoVadis and the EcoVadis award is to make corporate social responsibility performance transparent to business partners. The new EcoVadis Rating 2023 confirms that THIMM conducts itself responsibly, which in turn makes THIMM a trustworthy and reliable partner for all stakeholders.

The EcoVadis rating focuses on 21 different criteria, subdivided into the four themes of environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Issues such as health and safety also play an important role in the rating with the sector, size and geographical location also forming part of the consideration. The questions or criteria are based on international sustainability standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative.

THIMM has been rated by EcoVadis since 2016. This gives customers and partners transparent insights into sustainable business practices.

The EcoVadis award is valid for one year. The next rating will take place in spring 2024.

Important development potential is highlighted in the current rating which THIMM is now analysing in order to implement targeted improvement measures for the future.
