There is an increasing focus on sustainable materials and their origins. This is also affecting packaging and displays. Corrugated cardboard is already established as a sustainable packaging solution which as both a single-use and multi-use solution can be used in many different ways. One innovative and sustainable packaging material which is increasing in focus is grass paper, or respectively, grass corrugated cardboard.
As a packaging and display expert, THIMM recognised this trend and has developed the first grass corrugated cardboard displays for a marketing campaign for FoodBuzz in Berlin.
Based on the Sales Amplifier modular display system, the grass corrugated cardboard displays come in three different designs.
For the presentation of the specific food products of the day a grass corrugated cardboard display with an unusually high base and one level is used. The front-facing topper, with its relevant design and purchase-stimulating communication, further supports the presentation of the brand. The 347 mm high tray creates space for many different product formats to be showcased in the grass corrugated cardboard display.
The second variant of the grass corrugated cardboard display has space on three levels to place many different products. In the two lower levels there is the option to install supports which act as dividing strips to differentiate the products visually or by product group and also ensure the necessary stability for higher product weights.
