Sustainability assessments
Sustainability assessments contribute to company positioning. Our sustainability management is analysed through the assessment process which then shows us in which direction we should develop further. The results are transparent and can be viewed. We currently use two platforms for our sustainability assessments: SEDEX and EcoVadis.
SEDEX Assessment Platform
The globally recognised online platform SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) offers its members the opportunity to present information about their social and ethical processes to their customers and partners in a detailed and transparent manner. Audits based on the SMETA Catalogue (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) are assessed and reviewed for their sustainability commitment. These sustainability assessments are accessible to registered customers, suppliers and members.
SEDEX aims to improve ethical and social performance along the entire global supply chain and standardise social auditing standards.

EcoVadis Assessment Platform
EcoVadis is a global provider of sustainability assessments. The rating covers a wide range of non-financial management systems, including the impacts of the environment, employment rights and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Each company is assessed on the issues relevant to its size, location and industry sector. A standardised questionnaire is used to assess relative sustainability performance which can now be compared with 75,000 companies in the benchmark. The aim of EcoVadis is to assess and make it possible to compare the quality of company CR management systems.
THIMM Group has received three awards so far: gold in 2016, silver in 2019 and silver again in 2021.
We are currently in the process of answering the EcoVadis questionnaire for the completed fiscal year 2021 for THIMM Group. An evaluation result (scorecard) is expected to follow in April/May 2023.
