Payroll Expert at Northeim

I completed my training as an industrial management assistant in 2020 and completed further training in human resources management in 2022. I now work as a payroll expert. I balance out my day-to-day work with numbers on a screen by going to the gym and the theatre.

At THIMM, I work in payroll accounting, where my colleagues and I are responsible for the timely and correct payment of salaries for over 1,000 employees. My responsibilities include recording and updating important data such as leave, sick leave and changes in employment status. 

Payroll accounting is much more than just pressing a button – it requires careful and accurate work beforehand. Accuracy, resilience and a sense of responsibility are particularly important to me, especially at the end of the month when the workload increases. 

I appreciate the variety in my work, the structured nature of my tasks and the team spirit here. I particularly enjoy supporting and passing on my experience to trainees – just as I benefited from during my own training at THIMM.
