My journey at THIMM began during the coronavirus pandemic, when I initially joined the Work Preparation department following a career change. This soon sparked an interest in the packaging industry – so much so that I started a second training course as a packaging technologist, which I successfully completed in 2023. During my apprenticeship I was able to experience work at many departments and gain valuable insights. I was particularly shaped by my time at the corrugated cardboard plant, where I worked in the control room after completing my training and was able to take on a lot of responsibility both technically and personally – including training new colleagues.

In February 2025, another dream came true when I moved to my preferred department at THIMM – Development. I particularly enjoy how we work in a creative and solution-oriented way to offer our customers the best packaging solutions. I'm currently growing into my new responsibilities, gaining experience with CAD programs and looking forward to everything that lies ahead. From October, I will start my master craftsman training to advance my skills and take the next step – together with THIMM.

For me, the special thing about THIMM is that I've never felt like a number here, but part of the whole team from the very start. The trust placed in me has motivated me to give my best. THIMM isn't just an employer to me – it's a place that's close to my heart.
