Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

Before a decision is taken to use EDI messaging, an analysis of the processes between the two companies is recommended. As a basic pre-requisite for EDI projects, THIMM will agree the EDI rules (inc. emergency plan and responsibilities) between you and your suppliers. Inventory and requirements figures will be analysed so that reliable master data can be used as a base.
