The BFSV certified and four-fluted corrugated cardboard RhinoPlate® consists of nine paper webs and is thereby a stable and sustainable alternative for heavy cargo packaging.
Heavy cargo packaging made from RhinoPlate® can be used for Europe-wide transportation and for overseas shipments. RhinoPlate® corrugated cardboard demonstrates first-class test results in maritime climates with 20°C and 90% air humidity and can withstand extreme climate conditions. In comparison to packaging designs made from wood, RhinoPlate® heavy cargo packaging sometimes has better technical values. One example of this is heavy cargo packaging made from the corrugated cardboard type RhinoPlate® 4.22 CAAC. With this heavy cargo packaging the technical values of a foldable plywood crate are exceeded both statically and dynamically during transportation by HGV or ship. Some RhinoPlate® heavy cargo packaging even withstands higher load capacities.
RhinoPlate® heavy cargo packaging is subject to the safety factors of the various means of transportation and storage (SF2 / Sf2,5 / SF 4, etc.) and these are considered, based on the situation, in the determination of the extra load of the heavy cargo packaging.
