Apprenticeships and dual study
We offer young people a future-oriented training programme with a range of challenging components. We are currently training about 100 young people at our German sites. In particular with a view to our technical and management succession planning, THIMM Group offers a range of dual study places – an ideal combination of theory and practice!
Every year our company looks for motivated people for apprenticeships and dual study for eight different apprenticeship specialisms and study courses. Our objective is to clearly communicate an overview of the internal structures and tasks of individual departments and their business areas. Within the context of apprenticeships and study there are a range of projects to get involved in. Personal initiative, personal responsibility, willingness to develop and team spirit are developed and promoted in a pleasant company atmosphere and learning and working environment.
Internships and intern-semesters
Have you studied for at least three semesters and would like to put your theoretical knowledge into practice?
We offer you the opportunity, in a two to six-month internship or in an intern semester, to contribute to the daily work activities of an innovative and independent family business. As a full team member, you will learn about our day-to-day business and get involved in our projects. You will assume responsibility for tasks which match your study specialisms.
Final Dissertations
If you arouse our curiosity with an interesting topic with a practical implementation, we can offer you the opportunity to write your final dissertation with us at the end of your university degree. After receipt of your proposed topic we will examine its possible implementation with the relevant department. We unfortunately do not hold a pool of topics for final dissertations. It is our experience that it is sensible to develop the topic of a final dissertation together with our relevant departments within the framework of a preceding internship. This will enable you to gain a comprehensive insight into the department's area of work. Then you will be able to write your final dissertation in collaboration with one of the supervisory employees in the department.
