Preprint Solutions for the highest demands
With our Christiansen Print business division we are taking a lead in the European preprint market for high quality printed corrugated cardboard packaging. We offer the corrugated cardboard processing industry as well as renowned branded companies operating worldwide an unparalleled, advanced technology mix made up of CI, belt and digital printing.
This therefore opens up more added value options for your preprint projects than ever before. A variety of unique preprint solutions and services in terms of flexibility, cost efficiency, speed, reliability of quality and delivery.
Three sites – three preprint technologies
We combine our three Christiansen Print sites in central European locations with the variety and benefits of three different, innovative preprint technologies. In Ilsenburg/Harz we produce, in parallel, on two of the largest, state-of-the-art central cylinder flexographic printers in the world as well as on the largest multi-lane digital printer for corrugated cardboard packaging currently on the market, the PageWide T1100S by HP.
It is with state-of-the-art belt print technology, which allows the implementation of exceptionally dimensioned projects with a printing length of up to 4,500 mm, that our other two sites are working: Northeim in Lower Saxony and Garancières-en-Beauce near Paris. The entire printing capacity of all three sites amounts to 450 million m² per year. With more than 200 highly dedicated employees – experienced preprint specialists – we bundle together decades of expertise and technological advantage. In this way we are able to achieve much more than the sum of our individual qualities: unique synergies and services in the packaging market – around the world.
Digital printing in new dimensions
The largest web printer in the world, the PageWide T1100S by HP, opens up new dimensions in the area of digital printing. Its commissioning on our Ilsenburg site in spring 2017 once again expands the range of services and printing expertise of the THIMM Group. Be it serialisation, versioning, on demand or just in time, be it exclusive, limited editions or particularly large formats of up to 2.8 m width and almost any length: we are able to realise highly individualised transportation and sales packaging in the smallest to the largest runs in offset quality for you and are convincing with efficiency and economy.
